Opening of the information centre for Romanians in The Hague
Foundation Netherlands-Romania is one of the three partners directing the Information Centre for Romanians and Bulgarians in The Hague (IBR). The Centre was set up on request of the Municipality of The Hague. Our goal is to inform Romanians living/working in The Hague about their rights and duties concerning local and national governance (such as registration at the Municipality, medical insurance, knowledge of the minimum wages and other useful information regarding the integration into the Dutch society). The services of the Centre are rendered by our trained consultants at a desk located within the Municipality of The Hague, as well as at the Bulgarian Church in The Hague.
The IBR project was launched in December 2013 by Deputy Mayor for Urban Development, Public Housing and Integration, Mr Marnix Norder, together with the Romanian and Bulgarian Ambassadors to The Netherlands.
